Ancient House Museum Trip

Pupils spent the day exploring tudor life during the period of Queen Elizabeth I reign. During the visit pupils got to perform in a period drama modernised to suit thier understanding, created stained glass windows, and handled real 500 year old artefacts. The pupils shared the following in their evaluation.


" I was able to water the vegetables using a tudor water pot, it was different to how I water the garden".

" It was different, they use to 'pee' in pots".

" I thought that metal thing was for dentists, but it was for holding candles".

" They day was really fun, I want to go again".
